Painting of local Hotel |
Invited by Compleat Angler, Marlow to produce a painting of their hotel, that could be used on their brochure, as well as displayed within the hotel. To capture its spirit, an oil on canvas painting was done with consideration for what text would have to be placed onto the cover design. I also created a digital image to control the integrity of colour, and this was passed on to their designer. I also arranged to sign over copyright to Macdonalds Hotel to allow them to reproduce the painting for ‘prints’ sales and promotional items. As an additional thank you, they generously allowed me to exhibit Swan Upping paintings in their foyer for several days, including the day the swan Uppers were at the Hotel as part of their annual weekly event.
