A picture paints a 1000 words

In today’s multicultural society there is an increasing need to communicate ideas and processes more effectively than the written or spoken word. A picture can convey a feeling, explain an idea or make a statement. However, a cartoon can also add humour, focus attention, tell a story and be memorable - surviving trends in fashion and industry.
who is Denis Blandford . . . ? I was employed as a cartoonist in 1978 by an international training company creating educational cartoons that covered IT, Management and Quality training. Later, I developed an external revenue stream offering clients bespoke cartoons for their own business. Over the past 30 years I have created cartoons for:- publications, merchandise, media presentations, animations, internet, corporate communications, and many more. I invented cartoon characters for BA Clubs, BBC, GSK, ICL, Peritas, Reading C.C., Scottish Prison Service, plus supported many small businesses to help promote their commercial activities and internal processes. what are the benefits . . . Cartoons are a cost-effective way of owning a unique image enabled for use in print, presentation and web applications. They are designed to reflect your business, so help strengthen connections between your clients and your own workforce. The clever use of a cartoon can draw attention to key policies, initiatives or processes that may otherwise get lost amid ‘bullet point’ lists. However, the strength of a personalised cartoon is its relevance to your business and the ease with which employees relate to it as ‘ours’ or ‘one of us’ and clients recognise it as ‘yours’.
